Filing a notice
Send a written notice to the support inbox at /contact/ that includes: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, (b) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, with enough detail to locate it here, (c) your contact details (name, address, telephone, email), (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law, (e) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf, and (f) your physical or electronic signature.
What happens after a notice
Identified material is removed or access disabled and attempts to contact the party that posted it. Counter-notices may be filed by the original poster; the procedure set out in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
Misuse
Misuse of the takedown process (including knowingly false claims) may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). The brand profile does not adjudicate disputes; both parties are expected to resolve them through the formal DMCA process.
Repeat infringers
Repeat infringers may have their access restricted. The brand profile's repeat-infringer policy applies to users, not to visitors browsing the brand profile.
